Who we are

Chagit Products makes extractions and products from functional mushrooms and other superfoods. Our signature products are our SLX (Sweet Liquid eXtract), a line of alcohol-free mushroom liquid extracts. We harvest our own wild Alaskan chaga through our Alaska harvest network, then extract and bottle every batch in our own certified food facility in Camarillo, California. What makes Chagit different

Wild Alaskan chaga, harvested by us. Every drop of chaga in our products comes from our own Alaska harvest network. We don't buy chaga from anywhere else.

Fruiting bodies only. All of our mushrooms are fruiting bodies (for chaga, the conk). No mycelium grown on grain.

Alcohol-free. Unlike most tinctures, SLX contains no alcohol. It is made with plant-based glycerin and water.

Naturally sweet. It tastes good on its own but blends perfectly into what you already drink.

Made by us. Extracted and bottled in Camarillo, California, in our own facility.

A food, not a pill. SLX is sold as a conventional food with a Nutrition Facts panel.

Studied raw material. Our wild Alaskan chaga was one of six authentic whole-chaga reference samples in a 2025 peer-reviewed study (Windsor et al., Int. J. Mol. Sci. 2025).

Why a liquid instead of a powder or tincture?

Already dissolved. SLX is pure raw materials extracted into liquid, so there's no powder to break down or capsule to open. Easier for you to use and your body to absorb.

One teaspoon and done. A liquid mixes straight into hot or cold drinks without clumping, grit, or a blender.

Universally usable. It works in coffee, tea, water, smoothies, oatmeal, salad dressing, and mocktails. Wellness Resorts and Restaurants use our SLX for their wellness mocktails, coffee and matcha drinks, while others use them in their smoothies, salad dressings, desserts and more. 

No alcohol taste, burn or side-effects. Unlike alcohol tinctures, it suits people who avoid alcohol and works in everyday cooking

Easy to measure. The serving is one teaspoon, poured from the 225 ml flip-top bottle.

OUR STORY

As Founders, my brother Prema and I had a very successful career as TV producers, with over 300 episodes of network TV under our belts, including our work on the Discovery Channel’s mega-hit Bering Sea Gold.

In late 2014, while developing a show about Alaskan natives who survived as traditional hunters and foragers, we were introduced to the Chaga mushroom. We realized the mushroom was the real gold in Alaska.

We established our own Alaska harvest network, developed a novel extraction process and built a factory to deliver premium quality, functional mushroom products to the world.

After 4 years of regulatory hurdles, we started selling in late 2019, and we offer an alternative to the same old mushroom powders, capsules and tinctures that don't deliver.

We will always stay focused on providing premium quality nutrition for an affordable price, that makes a difference in people’s lives.
